Hapis is a map a lot of Rust players spend a lot of time on – so you might as well have a map of it. The one that we’ve put together displays both the general geography as well as points of interest such as monuments, loot crate locations, and tunnels. Below the map, we’ve written a short summary of each (contains recycler, has radiation, etc).
Tall, red and white lighthouse. Contains barrels, loot crates, and a recycler (on the second floor, use the fallen wooden beams to hop up). Very top is a decent place to camp as people coming up the ladder are defenseless. No radiation.
Launch Site [recycler]
Largest and most loot filled Monument in the game. Guarded by a tank. Has a recycler and research table. Contains radiation.
Oil refinery on the west side of the map. Has plenty of barrels and loot crates. Also has a recycler and research table. Underground tunnels below the refinery are a great way for newer players to get good gear relatively safely. No radiation.
Loading Dock [recycler]
Small dock on the west side of the map. Has barrels and a recycler. No radiation.
Half sunken ship off the north coast. Contains several loot crates. To access, you must first swim the extremely cold sea. Bring plenty of bandages and a campfire. No radiation.
String of several broken down military vehicles. Good amount of barrels and loot crates. No radiation.
A tugboat off the south coast. Contains several loot crates. No radiation.
A device you can use to extract resources from the ground with. Must use low grade fuel to power. Surrounded by loot crates and barrels as well. No radiation.
An old oil rig in the desert. Has several red barrels, but no loot. No radiation.
Warehouse in the desert. Has a recycler and several loot crates inside, with barrels being scattered outside. No radiation.
Site A [recycler]
Large satellite complex on the east side of the map with lots of barrels and loot crates. Also has a recycler (in one of the warehouses) and research bench (on the satellite). No radiation.
Site B [recycler]
Large complex on the west side of the map with underground tunnels. Has a recycler and research bench. Lots of barrels and loot crates. No radiation.
Materials Extraction [recycler]
Several large buildings on the west side of the map. Has a recycler plus barrels and loot crates. Contains radiation, but only in one small area. Contains radiation.
Tunnel complex that leads from the ocean to above the cliffside. No barrels or loot crates. No radiation.
As always, Rust still being a game in development means things change all the time. If anything stated is incorrect, please let us know in the comments so we can get it fixed.
